Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Ashley Rae Jocić, owner of Florida Keys Bookkeeping, LLC.
Numbers have always been my thing. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Accounting, I spent eight years in government accounting, working my way up to Supervisory Budget Analyst. It was a secure career — but I craved more freedom.
So, I resigned, traveled, and soaked in new experiences… but I missed the work. In 2017, when I settled in Key West, Florida, I returned to finance — this time building a business that fit my lifestyle and values. I quickly discovered that helping small business owners organize their finances was exactly where I belonged.
In 2021, amid COVID-19 and a big life transition, I invested in the Bookkeeper Launch course to sharpen my skills. Soon after, I opened Florida Keys Bookkeeping. Life sped up in the best way — I met my husband, adopted an oversized Shih Tzu, and had three amazing daughters (including twins!).
My business grew right alongside my family. Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship wasn’t always easy, but it pushed me to find smarter systems — like the Pure Bookkeeping System, which transformed my workflow, improved accuracy, and fueled faster growth.
